ROLAND CR-78 DRUM MACHINE LOOPS

A comprehensive, high quality set of drum loops created with the iconic Roland CR-78 CompuRhyhm Drum Machine (used by Ultravox, Blondie, Gary Numan, Kraftwerk & Roxy Music). Perfect for any retro influenced Electro and Synth Pop.

• Over 600 loops in 24-bit WAV format, 44.1 KHz.
• All loops are 2 bars long at 120 bpm.
• Loops can be timestreched from 90 - 140 bpm without sounding artificial.
• One shot samples of all drum hits (including accents).
• Every original pattern has been recorded as well as all variations and fills.
• There are also 11 sets of combined patterns.

A small amount of analogue compression was applied to add a touch more weight to the bottom end, as the original unit is a bit thin sounding. All loops also have a tape saturated version which gives a slightly fatter and warmer sound.

Each pattern has been recorded several times for maximum track building flexibility:

• Standard full pattern

• With bass drum muted

• With snare drum muted

• With cymbals & hats muted

• With claves & cowbell muted (if applicable)

• With 'metallic beat' function on

• With 'metallic beat' and no bass drum

• With 'metallic beat' and no snare drum

All the above variations allow you to apply your own effects individually. For example, if you want only the snare to have reverb, you can do that by using the loop with the snare muted then adding a one-shot snare sample (included) and applying the effect to that.

Loops are compatible with all DAW software including: Cubase, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Sonar, Cakewalk, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Reaper, Garageband, Studio One, Bitwig, Reason.
